A well-equipped kitchen means you can really make the most of the local seafood, a quick visit to the superb delis and bakeries in Appledore and you will soon be cooking up a storm with the freshest ingredients. When it is time for someone else to cook, a five-minute stroll into the village and you will find a range of restaurants to suit everyone’s tastes.
If you can drag yourself away from the views, head out and about. The local dune system is worth exploring and especially popular with walkers or follow the southwest path and head over to Instow, the village just across the estuary, where you can also pay a visit to Tapley gardens. If the walk back seems a bit much, you can hop on the ferry back to Appledore.
Sleep soundly in the master bedroom with its own views across the estuary and private access to the terrace. Wake up slowly with a cup of tea and watch the fishermen on the estuary begin their working day.
Fancy a dip, head to the slipway, just 1 minutes away and join the locals for an early morning swim before breakfast. That will work up an appetite! Then look forward to another day of doing exactly as you please …..
