When you book a break with Holidays in Croyde, its personal!

As residents of Croyde, and proud of it, we are best placed to help you choose your accommodation, plan your break, and we are on hand to sort any little niggles during your stay.

We know what it is like to go on holiday as a family and find that the accommodation lacks the things that you need, like a highchair, a decent TV, a secure garden that is child and pet friendly, or somewhere safe to stash the surf boards. We personally prepare the properties for your arrival, alongside our exceptional cleaning team, and make sure that all your pre booked requests are in place ready for your arrival.

During your stay, if something breaks or does not meet your expectations, we are on hand to fix it and quickly! So, you can carry on enjoying your holiday.  It is this attention to detail and personal service that keep clients coming back year after year.

This is Us! .

We are Sarah and Chris Betteridge. We have been operating exclusively in Croyde for over 20 years starting small, renting out our own properties, and over the years gathering a collection of properties owned by family, friends, and new friends.

Sarah loves helping people find the perfect holiday home for their treasured get aways. She is always on the end of the phone if you need advice or help during your stay. 

Chris is a builder and works with our owners to maintain their properties and ensure they are ready for each new guest that walks through the doors. 

During your stay you will regularly see both Chris and Sarah out and about, so do stop to chat and let us know how you are getting on. 

We love Surfing! .

As keen surfers we spend a lot of time on the beach enjoying the waves or walking our extended family of five cockerpoos,(so we are easy to spot when we are out and about)!

Chris fell in love with surfing at a young age, and our two youngest children have inherited his passion. They now compete regulalry at national level and are rarely out of the sea! 

We Love Croyde .

Spending so much time on the beach and in the sea means we see on a daily basis the impact of plastic waste on the environment. We are constantly working to reduce our impact in this area. 

We Love Cleaning! .

Along with a small team we set to work on preparing each property ourselves, so we know that it is ready for you. 

Special requests and extras will be waiting for you when you arrive, and we are on hand to help with any questions should they arise.

CROYDE BEACH

Because of its location, Croyde beach remains unspoilt by development. The dune system and the rugged headland of Baggy Point serves as a buffer, protecting the beach and giving it a sheltered, self contained feel. Well maintained, Croyde beach is clean and consistently wins awards for its water quality. In season, the beach is protected by a dedicated team of lifeguards who manage the waves so that swimmers, surfers, body boarders and kayakers all get a fair share of the surf!

  • We had a great stay at the bothy. Clean, tidy , close to the beach and village with very comfy beds! Excellent selection of games to keep the kids occupied on a rainy day. Would definitely return here.
