Croyde

Croyde is a small village but when it comes to eating out you are spoilt for choice. Whether you want a long-relaxedrestaurant meal or justtograb a bite while you enjoy the fresh air there is something for everyone.If you are planning on eating out during your stay, rest assured that most places will accept dogs (and may just have a few snacks suitable for them too)! We would always advise booking in advance if you can, to avoid any long waits,we don’t want any empty bellies here!

Coffee and Light Bites

The Hub sits right in the centre of Croyde and offers a huge selection of glorious pastries and pies, just perfect for a quick snack. They also offer and extensive Pizza Menu and offer delivery to the local area. 

The Hideout hidden just behind The Hub is the wonderful hideout. A casual diner/bar offering a range of pizza and snacks accompanied by a great drink’s menu. With a lovely, raised deck area it is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset. 

If you are looking to have a coffee break with a view try Café Croyde Bay. Attached to one of the local surf schools this café offers drink, snack and a perfect view of Croyde Bay. The relaxed and casual vibe only adds to the holiday feeling!   

Want to see Croyde from a different angle, try The Beach Café, Downend. Grab a coffee, baguette or breakfast and take a pew on one of the benches to enjoy the view.  

Take out and Pop up’s

A holiday at the sea side would not be complete without a fish and chip supper. Take a stroll to  Bay View Camping and sample some of the best fish and chips in the area. Out of season you might have to travel to Braunton for your fish and chip fix where you will find the famous Squires fish and chip restaurant offering both dine in and dine out options. You can even click and collect! 

Pop ups are very popular in Croyde and bring a world of new cuisines to the area as well as some traditional favourites, so whether you fancy a burger, a bao or a curry on the beach keep your eyes peeled for some inspired street food. 

Lunch and Dinner

The Thatch is famed as a post-surf watering hole. With a friendly atmosphere it offers a full menu and daily specials, plus a good selection of local ales and wine.

The Manor House Inn has a good outside space and is very child friendly. It’s menu includes everything from snacks and sandwiches to locally produced meat and fish dishes

Blue Groove is a stylish restaurant, intimate but fun, that offers good food with a gourmet twist. Its menu includes local produce as well as dishes that have more of an international flavour.New Coast Kitchen is the most recent addition to Croyde serving a range of dishes with only the freshest ingredients, delicious cocktails and a superb wine list.
