The perfect place to escape the hectic nature of the everyday and treat yourself to much needed quality time with friends and family. We had a fantastic stay at The Barn to celebrate my wife’s 60th birthday. It comfortably held 10 people with great social spaces - the lounge area and sofa is huge and a great place to relax. The kitchen is modern and really well equipped. The bedrooms are all a good size with really good quality bedding and towels. We were lucky with the weather so we’re able to take advantage of the outdoor spaces which are accessed through bi-folding doors which allow a great view of the setting sun. The location is also perfect for all of Croyde’s amenities - just a 2 minute walk to choice of 3 pubs. Didn’t want to leave and will definitely consider staying here again.
This house is beautiful and stylish. It’s exactly as it shows in the photos. It has everything you could possibly need and is kept in an immaculate condition. The host is very quick at answering any questions you may have. We will definitely stay again.
Had a great break in a lovely stylish and spacious place
Wonderfully cool place to have a relaxing stay. Location is spot on and facilities are the best we have ever had.
Fantastic property. One of the best holiday cottage I've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything you needed to cater for the number of people it sleeps. Simple things like sharp knives and big enough saucepans makes self-catering a joy here. Really easy walk to the beach. Great pubs and a great cafe on your doorstep. The outdoor space was great for BBQs and sunbathing and is completely secure so perfect for the dog. We will definitely use Croyde Barn again.
We came for a long weekend and were nothing short of amazed at how incredible Sarah's place is. The old barn is beautifully decorated, has comfortable beds, enough bathrooms (with amazing showers!) to host a big group and the kitchen really had everything we needed to self-cater (much better than our own if I may say so myself). On top of that, Croyde is wonderfully peaceful and the house is only a short walk from the beach with fantastic surf if that's what you're looking for. We'll certainly be back and have already recommended the place to friends and family.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and Croyde loves Breakfast! With many of the cafes offering takeaway why not treat yourself to breakfast in bed, or better still, get someone else to treat you!
Have you tried coasteering? Its guaranteed to get the heart rate pumping. After a day of jumping into the Atlantic, you wont be fighting for the shower when you return home. With four ensuite bathrooms, you can all be ready for the evening entertainment in record time!

Your turn to cook? Don’t worry you won’t be alone! The exceptionally well-equipped kitchen is in the heart of the home, making it easy to be a part of the conversation whilst you prepare the family meal. Not in the mood to cook? Then take a wander out of the front door and the only decision you will have to make is which of the numerous eateries in the village to try first!
Spend some time on the sofa - really you must, its gorgeous! A perfectly indulgent afternoon with a good book, good coffee and a sweet treat
Croyde has been a hot spot for surfers for many years. The beach sits within a natural bay which produces good waves for surfing. The influence of the Gulf Stream creates a Maritime Climate which creates cooler summers, milder winters and a warmer sea, all ideal for surfing. Complete beginners surf alongside UK national champions all year round, with Christmas day being no exception!
